Box-Title: Mozart/Le Nozze Di Figaro - Kleiber/VPO - 4 LP boxset

DECCA SXL 2087-8-9-90, audiophile 4 Lp boxset of the 1959 recording. Contains a recordsized insert with infos, photos etc., just as included in the original edition. The Original pressing of this box is the rarest SXL set in the Decca Stereo catalogue, the performance is one of the best ever recorded. Originals always sell very high-priced, this audiophile edition is „out of print“ : here's the chance to bid on a brandnew unplayed MINT copy.

The DECCA-Silverband-Reissues have been initiated in the mid-90ies by 20 German high-end studios/shops, they are hard to find and have an outstanding quality. Cut from the original, analogue masters of the recording session. Tony Hawkins (who is the cutter and assistant of the rewarded recording–engineer Kenneth Wilkinson) created the laquers at the Decca-home in London on the Neumann VMS 80 cutting-machine. Galvinization/plating and pressing were made in Germany. Of each matrix only 1000 copies have been made, the whole edition was limited. 180 gram virgin vinyl. Sleeve and label are exact replicas of the original ones. Record is stored in a deluxe-innersleeve wich has infos and advertising of the 20 high-end studios printed on it. Has been distributed by Speakers Corner and is nowadays deleted. I offer more releases of this rare editions in my current auctions. Supreme high-end quality !

Zustand: die sehr seltene Box mit 4 LPs ist absolut neuwertig: die Box, die Beilage und die Original Innersleeves sind mint. Alle 4 LPs sind in ungespieltem MINT-Zustand. Die Box war von Werk aus mit einem kleinen Streifen durchsichtiges Tesa-Klebeband verschlossen, dies habe ich vorsichtig auf der Vorderseite entfernt um die Box zu öffnen und die LPs optisch zu bewerten: alle 4 LPs sind makellos. Ca. 3 cm des Klebebands sind jetzt noch auf der Rückseite der Box, ich habe dies so belassen um keinen Abriß zu riskieren,

Condition: unplayed MINT 4 records. Box, insert & deluxe OIS are in mint. The box has been factory-closed with a small piece of clear tape, this has been the case with all boxes to avoid opening and falling-out of the records. I have opened the box carefully and I checked each record accurately under a strong light, all 4 LPs are pressed perfectly. One half of the small clear tape ( ca. 1.2 inch = ca. 3 cm ) is still on the back of the box, I did not remove this to prevent a tear.
