A magnificent audiophile enterprise, this release of Albert Spalding’s wonderful Brahms was re-tooled from Remington’s 1952 30ips mastertape. Keep in mind, even Remington themselves never utilized the 30ips master, as it was their practice to make records from a 15ips copy.
To say the least, the clarity achieved here, of this masterful performance (among Spalding’s last) is to be reckoned with.
This is a WNYC classical radio station copy that has been very well tended: The cover in fine shape but with the usual notations in ink on back, while, within, is the US audiophile platter in near-mint playing condition.
A vinyl treasure, to be cherished.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
