LP-Title:  Aaron Neville – Warm Your Heart

This is the original and rare pressing from 1991 on A&M Records, 397 148-1, made in Holland by Polygram. Lovely recorded and mixed by George Massenburg, mastered by Doug Sax at the Mastering Lab in L.A., making this record a true audiophile masterpiece. It’s easy to find a CD of this, but the number of vinyl-pressings was pretty low and it’s hard to track an original copy. From intimate small line-ups to full orchestra plus choir and band: this record will surely “warm your heart”, there are so many beautiful songs by A.Toussaint, B.Bacharach, Randy Newman, John Hiatt a.o. Top-musicians and an incredible audiophile sound, one of the best in the pop/soul field, highly recommended.

Condition: the album has many quiet parts and it’s hard to find a copy playing in mint- all of the time, even if it looks mint-, wich seems to be a problem of some 90ies pressings. It took me a long time to find a real mint- copy for my own collection. That's why I have listened very carefully to the whole album from the beginning to the end to give you a complete and honest description:

The record looks mint- in daylight and in artificial light, only under a real strong light you’ll see just a few light superficial papersleeve-lines, so I lower the overall visual grading to: mint---/ex+++.

The music plays perfectly in mint- with just one exception: there's one single low tic behind the fading of the music at the end of track 1, no visual reason to be seen for this. Both sides play otherwise perfectly - this is the best copy I've had in a real long time.

The cover has intact seams/spine, there's just a little rub on the seams corners next to the opening ( ca. 0,1 inch on top & 0,2 inch on bottom ); front & back are absolutely fine; overall ex++.

Grading & Cleaning:

• the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

• after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

• I also visually graded the record under a strong light

• only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

• cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !
