LP-Title: Aaron Neville – Warm Your Heart

This is the original and rare pressing from 1991 on A&M Records,397 148-1, made in Holland by Polygram. Lovely recorded and mixed by George Massenburg, mastered by Doug Sax at the Mastering Lab in L.A., making this record a true audiophile masterpiece. It’s easy to find a CD of this, but the number of vinyl-pressings was pretty low and it’s hard to track an original copy. From intimate small line-ups to full orchestra plus choir and band: this record will surely “warm your heart”, there are so many beautiful songs by A.Toussaint,B.Bacharach,Randy Newman,John Hiatt a.o. Top-musicians and an incredible audiophile sound, one of the best in the pop/soul field, highly recommended.

Condition: the album has many quiet parts and it’s hard to find a copy playing in mint- all of the time, even if it looks mint-. I have listened very carefully to the whole album from the beginning to the end to give you a complete and honest description.

The record looks mint- to mint-- with just the slightest signs that it has been played, even under a strong light you’ll have to look real hard, in daylight it looks perfect. The music also plays perfectly in mint- all of the time, but there are 3 tics on side 1 in the dead wax: 2 between tracks 2 & 3 and 1 between tracks 5 & 6. There is no visual reason for this, I had a lot of pressings of this LP, most of them showed this phenomenon. Side 2 plays perfectly.

The cover’s front and back are real fine, all seams/spine are intact, just a few tiny spots with rub on the seams, overall mint--/ex+++.

Grading & Cleaning:

• the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

• after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

• I also visually graded the record under a strong light

• only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

• cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !

• alle Platten habe ich professionell gereinigt und akkustisch & optisch bewertet. Kommen mit neuer Außen- & Innenhülle !
