LP-Title: Klaus Weiss Quintett – Salt Peanuts

Original German first pressing from 1982 on JETON,100.3325. Audiophile recording and pressing, limited edition, recorded Direct To Disc by Carlos Albrecht at Ludwigsburg’s Tonstudio Bauer. Beautiful gatefold-cover with photos and intensive liner-notes inside.

One of the rarer JETON releases and also one of the most interesting, too. Great bop- and post-bop date with an outstanding line-up in top-form, awesome soli by the great Roman Schwaller and Fritz Pauer !  This is one of JETONs legendary audiophile Direct-To-Disc recordings. The cover is still in its original loose PVC shrink. I got hold of a JETON archive stock of a former JETON employee. Pl. look for more original JETON records in my auctions !

Condition: the record shows a few very short, tiny and superficial sleevelines, but you can see them only under a real strong light, even there you'll have to look hard to see them, visually ex++. I have playgraded the whole record, it plays in mint- all of the time.

The covers seams & spine are intact except for a few mm wear on the top-seam of the gatefold-covers rear, the cover is plain from the outside but it's very slightly uneven inside ( please look at the photo to see how minimal this is ), overall ex. Please note:the shiny cover may cause some light reflections on the photos!
