Description

AUDIOPHILE Original 1st Pressing Ray Charles Genius Loves Company 2 SEALED LP Numbered Ltd. Ed.

I've been collecting vinyl records for the past 10 years and have decided to put many of them up for sale. All are audiophile, and most are highly collectible. Many of them are new and never played.

All used records will be cleaned professionally using vpi record cleaning machine.

I'm a collector, so I know how important it is to pack and ship LP's correctly. I use a new record mailer for packing. I ship them usually in two working days after payment.

This week is for outstanding vocal record album. Please check other items.

The last studio album completed by the untouchable Ray Charles before his death. Charles sings a dozen duets with a dazzling array of guest artists from virtually every genre. "We cover it all," Charles says, "from country to R&B, pop, rock and blues. I’ve never let them put me in a little box, and this (record) expresses that open feeling. A beautiful song is a beautiful song - and to sing with so many beautiful singers is a blessing from God." Genius Loves Company stands as a remarkable hallmark in a remarkable career, including duets with Norah Jones, Elton John, Van Morrison, Diana Krall, Natalie Cole, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Willie Nelson, Michael McDonald, B.B. King, Gladys Knight and Johnny Mathis.

GRADING SYSTEM :

We visually grade our records very strictly!!!

Sealed : Album is still sealed in original shrink wrap and has never been opened.

Mint : A near perfect, probably unplayed record.

NM : Record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Only well cared records will grade NM. It will satisfy all but the most demanding collector.

NM- : Very clean, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve, very light surface marks and slight signs of wear, which will not distract significantly from the sound. Cover also has only slight wear, and is still in nice collectible condition.

VG++ : Record surface may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches/hairlines that do not affect the overall listening experience.

VG+ : A used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.

VG : Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
