ELTON JOHN IN CONCERT - BBC 'STEREO POP SPECIAL' - TWO ONE-HOUR PROGRAMMES (BBC TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES).
This is the original BBC vinyl - double LP set of Elton John In Concert - December 1973. Included are times and leads for songs.
I have had this album kept in its original outer plastic sleeve for over 30 years. I am not the original owner - I bought it at a record show in New York in the late 70s or early 80s. I remember being told that this was from Elton John's closet.....:) As I was a very young, naive EJ fan, I'm inclined to think the seller was really playing this up to me as it was quite expensive even then. However, this is definitely the original BBC Transcription Services issue. The BBC heavy brown/lined sleeves have the original handwritten markings - "Parts 1A 1B", "Parts 2a 2b" on the outside. "DW" is also handwritten on one of the transcription pages (I have no idea what this stands for or if these are someone's initials)
The BBC introduction page and the lead sheets are in overall VG condition (part of the lower left corner is torn off on the intro. page). The vinyl is in EX condition.
