Item: PJ Harvey "Dry + Demonstration" Double LP Numbered LTD #2433 - autographed

Details: 1994 UK pressing. Too Pure PURE D10

Condition: Sleeve VG+/Discs VG+ (Most would call this NM but I grade conservatively)

Notes: Plastic sleeve to encase all components. This came to me with the records having been taken out of their picture sleeves, and put in plain white sleeves. This way the original sleeves do not get worn. 

This item is the crown jewel of my collection. Of course this album, even without the autograph, is a staple item in any serious PJ Harvey collection -- the original numbered, limited edition pressing of her first album, and the only official release ever of the "Demonstration" disc. Well I had a pretty nice specimen to begin with -- and then I got it autographed!

I obtained the autograph personally. It was after a 30-person performance in a recording studio in Seattle, when "Dance Hall at Louse Point" was released. There was supposed to be an opportunity to get items autographed before the set, but that didn't actually happen. So I waited for over an hour outside the stage door, while the security guard insisted that PJ had already left the building. Finally, he came outside and said "She'll be out in 5 minutes."  

I had her autograph the album (her comment: "Oh, this is an old one!") and she and John Parish both autographed "Dance Hall" (be sure and see my auction for that one!)

I'm selling much of my collection, so be sure to look at my my other items. The photo shown is of the exact item I am selling, not a stock photo. I grade very conservatively using the Goldmine grading system (NM, VG+, VG, G+, G, F, P). Discs are visually inspected, not played for grading. I don't grade things Mint, and I don't grade things NM unless they've never been played/opened! So most of my items are graded VG+ simply because they have been handled.
