Description
If you've heard this, it's probably on your wantlist if you don't have it already. It's the only album (in fact the only release, period) from San Francisco Bay Area gloom-wave band Autumn Cathedral, called Asleep Within Waves. It was released in 1989 on Epithet Records. The music is comparable to bands like Joy Division, Party Day, The Cure, Sad Lovers and Giants, The Essence, and countless others. They would have fit perfectly on the early Factory Records or 4AD rosters. They may not have been terribly original, but they knew how to make some excellent songs. If you like the above bands, you need this! They have a myspace page where you can listen to some tracks. Also, you can buy mp3s of their second album, which was never released:

The cover is VG with some ring rubbing but little wear aside from that; the vinyl is NM with onyl some super-light paper marks.
