Description

c.1972 8.5x11" softcover book w/ 155pp. A unusual book w/ dozens of photos and general information on the legendary psych rock festival of Avandaro (Mexico). Los Dug Dugs, Tinta Blanca, Three Souls In My Mind (El Tri), Peace and Love and El Ritual were among the participating bands.

Written by Humberto Rubalcaba (manager of the garage band Tinta Blanca), the book tries to recreate the atmosphere beofre, during and after the festival. Spectacular photos by José Pedro Camus, Francisco Drohojowski and Joel Turok. Includes a highly controversial prologue by journalist Jacobo Zabludowsky.

Spanish language. Published in Mexico by Editorial Nosotros. VF+ condition. Some creases on the laminated sover. No tears. No missing pages. No writings.
