A rarity, indeed! Up for sale here is a 1983 radio station promotional copy of the pre-Savatage 3-song 7" single City Beneath the Surface/Sirens/The Whip on Par Records. Obtained in the mid-90's when I was vacationing in the Tampa/St. Pete area from Detroit, I came across this gem at a local record store along with a few other Avatar/Savatage items. It is not in mint condition but is still worthy of being a serious collection show piece. The vinyl single itself has no scratches and only minor scuffing; I would rate it a 9/10. The sleeve sports ring wear from the single within, has some shelf wear from obviously being in a radio station bin prior to being stored in plastic at least since when I obtained it 25 years ago and I would grade it 8/10, I suppose.
