The Alan Caddy Orchestra and Singers - ENGLANDS 12 TOP HITS
Hard to find original UK stereo vinyl pressing LP from 1971 on Avenue Recordings (AVE 088).
Groovy pop, rock, glam and reggae covers by Alan Caddy and an unknown group of session musicians and singers. Highlights include 'Pictures in the Sky' (originally by blues rock band Medicine Head) and reggae hits 'Black and White' (originally by Greyhound), 'Pied Piper' (The Bob and Marcia version), and 'Monkey Spanner' (Dave & Ansel Collins). Other bands covered include White Plains ('When You are a King'), Hurricane Smith, Lobo, Mungo Jerry ('Lady Rose'), New World, The Sweet, and Middle of the Road.
Many of these Avenue recording sessions featured young upcoming artists such as Elton John, David Byron and members of Uriah Heep, but i'm not sure who is on this one?!
Comes in original front-laminated picture sleeve with sexy busty blonde on front and rear of cover!

Vinyl in excellent condition. Nice clean copy that plays through smoothly.
Sleeve in excellent condition. Looks tidy with no spine splits, writing or sticker marks.
