It is a collection of sci-fi effects created by the BBC for four shows: THE HITCH-HIKER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY, DR. WHO, BLAKE’S 7, and EARTH SEARCH.
Now, you don’t have to be a fan of any of these shows to enjoy this record, because all on its own, I tell you, it displays the wildest, weirdest, earth shaking sounds known to man -- and from a sound department at the BBC renowned for inventiveness and execution. (To this day, the BBC has the largest archive of sound effects on the planet.)
A fine, exhilarating prize, here in a cover without fault, record within will play near mint.
Watch your volume here, as there are sounds that can drain even the best hi-fi system in playback. A truly insane record, particularly for audiophiles.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
