First pressing of Bach The well-tempered Clavier with Rosalyn Tureck, piano

UK purple/silver pressing 6 lp set. DEEP GROOVED ON SIDES 1,2,5,6,8 and 11. APPEARS TO BE THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE PRESSING.

NM: Box/Jacket. Covers look like they just came from the factory. Cellophane covering is intact on all covers. Slight separation appears on the back of 1036. There is foxing-yellowing on the rear flaps of 1039 and slight yellowing on the flaps for 1037.

Records : NM- for all. Few signs of use except for very light spindle hole marks on a number of sides and water drops from cleaning, probably by a record cleaning machine.

Dead Wax information: The matrix numbers are not very evident in the dead wax. The numbers that may be matrix numbers seem to be 2s or so.
