AZTECS Live OZ 70s HEAVY BLUES PROG LP BILLY THORPE

This is an original issue of the Aztec’s “Live” LP. Cat. No. Havoc HST 4001. Their 1971 album was recorded at the legendary Melbourne Town Hall concert when the Aztecs were at the peak of their power. The Aztecs with Billy Thorpe at the helm, played loud no nonsense, heavy blues rock with progressive keyboard additions. The show was so loud that the giant organ apparently put a crack in the wall due to the depth and intensity of the bass notes!! Track list is: Somebody Left Me Crying / Time Ti Live / Be-Bop-A- Lula // Momma Part 1 / Drum Solo / Momma Part 2. An essential insight into what drove many fans into drunken reverence over this bigger than big band in its day. Loud Aussie boogie rock, be warned. Cover is VG+ with minor seam wear and record is EXCELLENT.
