Description
Abbey Road [LP] by Beatles Factory Sealed Vinyl, NEW MINT CONDITION Limited Edition, Capitol/EMI Records 2002. Last Edition to still have white paint smudge on Abbey Road next to Ringo. Subsequent pressings and CDs have that AIR-BRUSHED out! NO RING WEAR! No "Her Majesty" neither.
The UPC shows a release date of 1987, but this is a Limited Edition available in Tower Records in 2002. I bought it in the store in NYC myself and this copy still has the original sales sticker from store hanging off of the back.
I believe this was printed IN 2002 (maybe as early as 1999) and NOT 1987, even though they reused the UPC number with details above, which are NOT quite accurate.
Collectors: Sorry, but I have no clue what the catalog number is. Please don't ask. You should be able to identify this pressing the limited ed sticker on top right of front, and I expect true diehard vinyl collectors to know better than I do what the catalog number was. I don't know, don't really care, sorry! The point is that this is a SEALED copy, which is hard to find, of this limited pressing!! That makes this VERY collectible!
US only: Will mail media mail to save you cash!
