Description

Abbey Road by the Beatles.

PCS 7008

YEX 749 2/750 1

UK first pressing variant to the best of my knowledge with sought after misaligned Apple sleeve.

Firstly, the record:

Visually stunning. Aside from a couple of exceptionally light spindle marks (invisible from any particular distance) & a couple of marks on side B that are so faint I couldn't really pick them up with my phone camera this looks like a record that's seldom left its sleeve.

I've had it professionally cleaned so it's lovely and shiny.

I've play tested it & it sounds amazing. Upfront & punchy like you'd hope from a UK first pressing with quiet run ins & no surface noise.

Secondly, the sleeve:

Unmolested, lustrous & bright with sharp corners & a good spine. Some exceptionally light laminate lift around the opening edge if you're being dead picky I suppose.

The pictures tell a thousand words.

I can't really see why you'd want to upgrade this one.

This is probably the best copy on ebay at this starting price.

Please study all twelve pictures before making an offer or bidding because they make up part of the description.

**A note on the record - this is the true item from the sleeve & it's one of the few sold in a misaligned Apple sleeve with Her Majesty listed on label B. I do have a copy that doesn't list Her Majesty which has also been cleaned & is also nice.. but not quite as stunning. I'm happy to switch it at the buyer's request**

As a purist I personally think it best to leave as it is though.

Offers welcome.

I post promptly and securely second class to keep costs down and I sometimes use recycled packaging.

Polite disclaimer:

If you don't have the means to pay for a bid within 48 hours of sale then please let me know before bidding.

Also if you intend making an offer but you have further questions about the items for sale, then you should ask them *prior to making that offer. By making an offer you are committed to the sale should the retailer accept it as per eBay terms and conditions. Sorry to have to mention this but I've suffered some frankly rotten buying etiquette recently.

Domestic or GSP buyers only please.

Check out my feedback, bid with confidence, & thanks for looking
