Description

Here is an incredibly RARE record!!  It's an AUTHENTIC "V DISC"  12" 78rpm record titled "BASEBALL ROUTINE  Bud Abbott and Lou Costello". Record number is NO. 741 A/B.  (Side 2 is a Baseball Medley of songs by various artists).   This record (ALL V Disc's) were pressed for the military: Army - Navy - Marine Corps - Coast Guard. And they are in LIMITED supply.  Most of the records haven't survived the years.  This disc was made in the 1940s and V Discs stopped production by 1949!
The "Who's On First?" routine is an original version...NOT taken from one of their movies....possibly taken from a radio broadcast...but not one that's common. I can't play it today but I remember when I did play it it was a long version of it....it MIGHT even have the ending "..I don't give a damn..."  I can't remember!!
Anyway it's even RARER because the label was autographed in the late '80s by A&C's children.....Chris Costello & Vickie Abbott!!!!!!!
The condition is probably GOOD to VG--.......BUT IT DOES PLAY!!  Has pops and crackles but does NOT SKIP!!
This is a true rarity that ANY Abbott & Costello collector should have!!  You may never see another one!!  Good Luck!!
