Hitline - Various Artists (Canary (CLP-106), Philippines 197?) Cover: VG+ (shelf wear) Record: EX to M- (light sleeve scuffs, plays M-. Rare various artist Hitlines release from the Philippines. Of note for some amazing funk and disco grooves. Look out for the amazing heavy funk glam rock track "Bote-Diyaryo" by Abrakadabra (to check out the track go to youtube and search 'pinoy abracadabra') I've include a close up pick of Abrakadabra with full on Kiss makeup! Also two great funk/disco tracks by band Black Opinion  (check out two tracks by them at youtube and search 'pinoy black opinion') These tracks aren't the ones on this album but should give a good idea of their sound, tho the tracks on this lp are funkier. Also of note are two crazy, high energy disco tracks by the band Silver Skye and a track by the band Boyfriend, who sounds like a young filipino version of The Bee Gees. This is the only place you can find these tracks and is quite rare. No reserve. Good luck!
