Massive Record Collection 8791 Single Records
This auction is for an absolutely massive record collection consisting of 8791 45rpm singles ranging from the early 1960's to the late 1980's or there about.
This mammoth collection was assembled by my Dad over many, many years, he DJ'd in the seventies and was an avid collector never getting rid of anything. Much as we would love to hang on to them all it is impossible, we do not have the space. What we have done as a family is spent the last month cataloguing ALL the records, we have had a real laugh remembering so many of the "oldies" and real quirky one offs that were around, especially the one's from the 1970's which was our era. For those who are genuinely interested if you provide me with your e-mail address I will forward the extensive FULL LIST there maybe a few mistakes with artists name's etc, but it's as accurate as we can get it!
The condition of the records range from poor through to good; very good; excellent and some probably near mint. The same applies to the covers. We have tried a few at random and all play, they will all probably need a good clean before playing on a proper hi-fi system. There are duplicates, with the same song perhaps being on different record labels and\or with a different "B" side etc. There are undoubtedly some rare records within this collection but it will not be split so please do not ask. The starting price is stupidly low £87.91 that's 1p per record, yes ONE PENNY, for that you could use them as Frisbee's or make a King sized bed, a wall collage etc etc etc! Obviously it would be nice for someone to sort them further and assemble a really nice bespoke collection.
We are not record experts and have described this collection to the best of our limited knowledge so please ask any questions BEFORE BIDDING thank you.
The collection is being so "as is" in one lot, no returns or refunds, you bid you buy. If you do not agree then it's simple do not bid! The last thing we want is to be let down by someone who has second thoughts etc. They will obviously need collecting and you will need a BIG car or small van, they weigh a ton and will fill an estate car!

We are also selling the remainder of Dad's hi-fi bits and pieces the best of these being a fabulous Dynatron Music Centre on which we have played some of the above records. Also a TEAC Amplifier and Cassette Deck. Have a look at these auctions thanks.
