Ace Frehley - 10,000 Volts (LTD Black Vinyl)
Description DetailsLimited Edition 180g 1LP Black Vinyl in Gatefold Cover!
Grammy-nominated R&R Hof recruit and guitar legend ACE FREHLEY announces the release of his new studio album 10,000 Volts. Produced by Ace and Steve Brown (Trixter), Ace delivers 10,000 volts of electrifying, hard-hitting, riff-driven rock 'n' roll on the 11-track album.
Written and produced by Ace and Steve Brown, the title track and accompanying video are out today. The song starts with a powerful riff, and Ace's powerful delivery doesn't let you go. It culminates in the refrain “She hit me like 10,000 volts, when I saw her face,” which leads to an igniting guitar solo.
Rock 'n' roll and heavy metal simply wouldn't sound, look or feel the same without Ace Frehley. In addition to hundreds of awards, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame® in 2014 as co-founder and original lead guitarist of Kiss. Guitar World named him in the top 15 of the “100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists Of All Time” and placed the lead vocal of “Shock Me” on the “50 Greatest Guitar Solos Of All Time”. The Foo Fighters recorded a fan-favorite cover of "Ozone," and he even jammed on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring JIMMY Fallon along with The Roots' "New York Groove." The late Dimebag Darrell of Pantera proudly sported a tattoo of Frehley on his chest, while Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine hailed him on X/Twitter as "My First Guitar Hero."
10,000 Volts is a storied legacy for Frehley, spanning more than 50 years in the spotlight. In 1978 he presented his solo debut Ace Frehley. It achieved platinum status and became the best-selling of the four Kiss solo albums of the Soundscan era. Pitchfork subsequently even gave it the rare grade of “8.5”. In 1987 he published Frehley's Comet. After Anomaly in 2009, he made history again. His 2014 LP Space Invader reached No. 9 on the Billboard 200 and became "the only solo album by a former or current Kiss member to reach the top 10 of the charts." Origins Vol. 1 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart and entered the Top 5 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart. He was able to maintain this success with Spaceman [2018].
Back in October, Frehley said: »It's probably the best record I've ever made. We were originally going to call the album Walking On The Moon until we recorded a song called 10,000 Volts which turned out fantastic. I even got Anton Fig, my old drummer who played on my 1978 solo album and most of my solo stuff, to play drums.«

About Us
Our founding year in 1998 - long after vinyl was declared dead and long before vinyl was celebrated as a cool thing again - proves that we are real vinyl nerds. We started out as a small record dealer from home. Later we opened our first real record store and of course our own online shop. Everything out of passion and always with the motto: SAVE THE VINYL. What is not available online is available in our store in Übersee, Frühlingsweg 22. Overseas? Yes. Übersee Am Chiemsee. Directly on the A8 motorway, between Munich and Salzburg. Here you will also find a fine selection of second-hand vinyl. We also have a large selection of equipment from many manufacturers. Simply everything you need when it comes to vinyl...
