 DINAH SHORE & JOHN GARFIELD

with EDDIE CANTOR on part of his

"TIME TO SMILE" radio show 5/7/41

 other side (LABEL MISSING)

DINAH, CANTOR & JOHN GARFIELD

do a short routine

Cantor sings- LOVE IS THE THING

Dinah sings- DAISY

The amazing 12 year old Olive Major sings- THE HOT HOT SONG

condition: the sound runs from G+ to VG with varying dregrees of background sound but the

show was always audible & enjoyable above the background sound.

UNFORTUNATELY I AM GRADING THIS WITH A RATHER CHEAP MODERN 78 PLAYER. SO IT IS POSSIBLE IF YOU HAVE MORE

APPROPRIATE NEEDLES ETC. YOU MIGHT HAVE EVEN BETTER RESULTS.

THE LABEL IS MISSING ON THE SIDE WITH CANOTR & MAYOR SINGING

I RECENTLY CAME ACROSS MORE THAN 50 OF DINAH SHORES PERSONAL TRANSCRIPTIONS

"recorded for Dinah Shore" FROM THE 40's. THESE ARE MOSTLY OUT TAKES OF HER RADIO

SHOWS PERFORMENCES BUT THERE ARE ALSO FULL RADIO SHOWS.

Of course I combined auctions for cheapest shipping.

NM: Near Mint. Record and cover appear virtually unmarked. Cover still in shrink.

VG++: A hair under near mint may have  only a couple of very insignificant surface only lines that should not affect sound.

Cover out of shrink otherwise close to perfect.

VG+:   A  cared for record. Some surface lines. No actual scratches. May still play perfectly or will have  very slight audible

imperfections. Some normal cover wear.

VG:  There will be visual imperfections and  some audible ones . May be a number of surface only lines or there might be a

small scratch but not one that  repeats, Cover will be worn or have some kind of defect. In this condition flaws will be pictured

or noted.

VG-: Usually the lowest rating I will list an LP at. Same as VG but defects are more pronounced.  May have more than 1 scratch

but still not one that repeats. This record will still be enjoyable but there will almost definitely be background sound. I have

sold many rare 78s and older acetates at this grade and buyers have almost always been pleased. In this condition flaws will

be pictured or noted.

G+: There may be skips or some other major defect or the background sound is so loud that listening might be a chore. Defects

will be stated. Covers will have major defects that need to be stated.

G: Better to use as a frisbee

I use United States Postal Service. Within the USA in most cases I invoice via media mail. Very expensive or very fragile items such as 78's I prefer shipping via Priority. Unfortunately 1st class mail shipping outside the USA does not include tracking and although it typically takes 2 weeks the Post Office gives no time guarantee and on rare occasions it has taken over a month.

Please pay or let me know how you intend to pay within 3 days of being invoiced. On rare occasions items in my store have disappeared through a black hole and are being listened to in another dimension by aliens with no head but a huge ear on their neck. Obviously if you purchase one of my items that have been stolen by the big ear face aliens I will refund you immediately.
