VINYL: EX SLEEVE- VG a 3" top edge split carefully & invisibly glue repaired
i could not find these songs in Johnny Rivers discography (in discogs) or in any on-line searches. I was tempted to upload this to youtube but I've found some buyers think it diminishes the value of a unique item, if other people have access to it, hence making it less unique. They are solid Disco/skating tunes, obviously done with humor, perhaps mocking the genre which could be one reason they weren't released. I thought "I Can't Dance" was going to be the Sinatra tune but it is Disco and (if not for the length) probably should have been titled "If I could dance i would dance but I can't dance" a phrase he repeats a few times. They seem like they might have been tunes made for a musical comedy Disco / roller skating movie. In 1979 "Roller Boogie" & "Thank god it’s friday" were movies that these songs could have fit into but I checked and they weren't in either of those films or 1980's "Can't Stop the Music".
OF COURSE I COMBINE AUCTIONS FOR THE CHEAPEST POSSIBLE SHIPPING
NM (Near Mint): Record and cover appear virtually unmarked.
VG++: Looks &/or plays just a little short of NM.
VG+ : Used but not abused. Will likely have some relatively slight audible imperfections.
VG : Many only surface lines or may have a small scratch that doesn't skip. Background sound but still enjoyable.
Cover defects will be noted.
VG-: significant background sound from various defects but music always quite audible above it.
Cover has some damage that will be noted.
