Description
Encore acoustic guitar SIGNED by PHIL COLLINS in 1998. Includes guitar carry case.
I'm moving to the States and am reluctantly selling as much as possible before I leave. I've worked with Genesis and, later, Phil Collins as a solo act for many years. I was filming (part of the film production crew for) Phil Collins' LIVE AND LET LOOSE IN PARIS show -- part of the 1998 world tour with The Phil Collins Big Band -- and brought my acoustic guitar along with me. Daryl Mark Stuermer (one of Phil's guitarists on the tour) spent most of one morning strumming on the guitar while Phil sang along; Phil then signed the guitar for me. The autograph is on the left-hand side of the body of the guitar and reads: "To Sophieluv
Phil Collins" Phil drew a 'smiley face' below his signature (in his words, "He looks a bit like me, doesn't he?!"). The guitar plays fantastically, and has a great tone: until today, I still play it. It has a small chip on the lower body of the guitar, as shown in the photographs; the guitar is otherwise in superb condition. Ready for immediate dispatch from the United Kingdom.
