Description
On the Active Record label out of the UK, this is a Very First Pressing of early Heavy Metal's Budgie's "Power Supply" lp! On the Runoff (Deadwax) the etching says ACT - LP - 1 - A- 1 on Side 1, and ACT - LP - 1 - B - 1 on Side 2! And it's all still in fantastic condition too! The Cover is clean and pristine with no writing, etc., and the Labels have absolutely no "spindle hole" markings to indicate this lp was ever played! Please see my six pictures, the ones with the spotless Labels have all the amazing tracks, Thank You!
Wiki: Budgie are a Welsh hard rock band from Cardiff. They are described by author Garry Sharpe-Young as one of the earliest heavy metal bands and a seminal influence to many acts of that scene,[2] with fast, heavy rock (an influence on the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) and acts such as Metallica)[3] being played as early as 1971.[4] The band has been noted as "among the heaviest metal of its day".[5]
