Description
This listing is for a very rare adults only "Stag" or "Bachelor Party" record called Adam Stag Party Special Volume 1 featuring Buzzy Greene.
It was released in 1962 by the label Fax Record Company with the catalog # FAXLP 1006
The alternative or subtitle of the album, which is what is listed on the record label is Bare Fax Burlesque Special.
"Stories Mother Never Told" printed on the cover underneath the title.
This version of the album features a busty blonde nude pin up cheesecake cover.
There were several versions of this album with different covers, but this is one of the hardest to find. I think there was also another non-nude cover also available which is also much more common.
The record itself is in pretty good condition, especially for a record of this type and age, which are usually in rough shape.
It has some visible and audible, but mostly light, surface scratches/scuffs.
Surface noise is present, but not overly distracting most of the time.
There is also some light dust/dirt and a few finger print smudges, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.
If using industry grading I would grade this disc as a very solid VG copy.
The sleeve is in what I would call good condition with some visible ring & cover wear on the edges & corners as well as some spots of discoloration.
There is only one one small spot on the front cover that has more noticeable wear in the center of the photo (see photo).
The jacket has no seam splits, which is also somewhat rare for these types of albums.
Overall the front cover is still very much in displayable condition despite some minor flaws.
I would grade the jacket as a solid VG as well.
Comes in a generic plain white inner sleeve. It's unknown if it is the original or not.
