Draw the Line - JC 34856 Night In the Ruts - FC 36050
Rock In a Hard Place - FC 38061
Condition: Overall, Very Good + Vinyl and Very Good Cover. Vinyl was play-tested on all sides and all play very well throughout. Rock In a Hard Place is VG/VG with some light background noise. Covers are fully intact with light shelf wear, see pictures. Name written on one cover. Some inner sleeves have partial splits, so anti-static replacement sleeves are included along with the originals.
Rocks is the fourth studio album by Aerosmith, released in 1976. AllMusic described Rocks as having "captured Aerosmith at their most raw and rocking." Rocks was ranked number 366 on the updated Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2020. It has influenced many hard rock and heavy metal artists, including Guns N' Roses, Metallica, and Nirvana. The album was a commercial success, charting three singles on the Billboard Hot 100, two of which reached the Top 40 ("Back in the Saddle" and "Last Child").
A1 Back In The Saddle A2 Last Child A3 Rats In The Cellar A4 Combination
B1 Sick As A Dog B2 Nobody's Fault B3 Get The Lead Out B4 Lick And A Promise B5 Home Tonight
Draw the Line is the fifth studio album by American hard rock band Aerosmith, released in 1977. Retrospective reviews are more positive. According to Greg Prato of AllMusic, "the band shies away from studio experimenting and dabbling in different styles," returning "to simple, straight-ahead hard rock" and releasing "the last true studio album from Aerosmith's original lineup for nearly a decade."

B1 Kings And Queens B2 The Hand That Feeds B3 Sight For Sore Eyes B4 Milk Cow Blues
Night in the Ruts is the sixth studio album by Aerosmith, released in 1979, by Columbia Records. Critic Greg Prato of AllMusic called it "a surprisingly coherent and inspired album. Although it's not up to par with such classics as Toys in the Attic or Rocks (although it could have been if the band weren't in such a state of turmoil at the time), it was definitely leaner and more focused than the band's previous studio release, Draw the Line."

It is the only Aerosmith album not to feature lead guitarist Joe Perry, following his departure from the band in 1979. Rhythm guitarist Brad Whitford also left during the recording in 1981.

I use the Goldmine Grading System, and play-test all records. I note any differences between vinyl and cover, and make note of any inserts, special sleeves, or potential defects.

MINT (M) - Absolutely perfect in every way. Most often this is a still sealed record, records that have been opened are rarely if ever marked as Mint.

NEAR MINT (NM) - A good description is that it looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time. In other words, it?s nearly perfect, with no visible defects.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) - Except for a couple minor things, this could be Near Mint. Most collectors will be happy with a VG+ record, especially if on the high end (VG++). VG+ records may show slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Covers should have only minor wear.

VERY GOOD (VG) - VG records are among the biggest bargains, and for many, will be worth the money. They can lack the original gloss, may have surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages. But the noise will not overpower the music. VG covers will have signs of handling, and may have minor splits.

GOOD PLUS (G+) - Good+ does not mean bad! The record still plays through without skipping, but it has significant surface noise and groove wear. Cover may have significant ring wear, noticeable writing, or obvious damage.

GOOD (G) - Record may have some skipping, but is otherwise listenable. I generally avoid selling Good (G) rated records unless they are highly collectible or desirable, in order to enjoy until something better comes along. Cover has major wear or seam splits that need repair, or heavy writing like radio station call letters to prevent theft.
