Description
Up for auction is a pristine copy of the debut VINYL LP from Cincinnati's own Afghan Whigs "Big Top Halloween" (Ultrasuede, 1988) with a black and white insert with details. The sleeve is VG+ with nice corners and minimal wear. The vinyl is also in excellent shape grading a VG+. This is an absolute must-own for any self-respecting Whigs fan. I am thinking the band pressed 1,500 of these, but I am not certain of that fact. Regardless, this is an impossible to find record by an important band at the very beginning of their career. Winning bidder agrees to pay in 3 days after auction close via PayPal only. I use recycled cardboard record mailers and I take the utmost care in packaging vinyl properly including taking the record out of the sleeve and adding a plastic protective sleeve.
I am willing to ship abroad, but PLEASE CONTACT ME before bidding so I can give you an idea of the shipping costs.
For the curious: I purchased this new in shrink wrap from a guy in Louisville, KY, I used to trade records with via the USPS. I am fairly certain I bought this in 1991. I am hoping to find this true rarity a home in a fan's record collection.
