INFO: I still know as little about this record today as when I found it. The only search results for this record I've been able to find are from a Jazzman Gerald / DJ Format radio show from years ago and on an Academy Records playlist from last year. Absolutely incredible African jazz killer from who knows where -- maybe New York / New Jersey? The label typeface is the same as when Cotillion / Atlantic picked up small regional labels for distribution (Lamp from Indianapolis, Diamond Jim from Detroit, etc). It's also the same typeface as the SOULIN' label out of New Orleans.  Anyways.. It's cool and it get's reealllly wasted sounding.. check out the clip below and come to where the flavor is. *please note that I randomly placed some very low volume beeps for obvious reasons.
