Description
Hard-To-Find LP from Sunny Ade And His African Beats titled "Ijinle Odu" released by Sunny Alade Records Limited (SALPS 32) in 1982. Original Nigerian pressing. Organic effort from Sunny Ade and his 21-member band with a more earthy sound than his releases on Island Records thanks to the absence of synthesizers. Infectious airy funk grooves featuring highlife-style guitars, eight percussionists including three on talking drums and six additional back-up vocalists for harmony response. Gorgeous sound and not available on compact disc!

Labels are in EXCELLENT condition. Vinyl record is in EXCELLENT condition with nice luster and some hairline sleeve marks. Plays with some noticeable light surface noise but nothing distracting...sounds great! Cover is in VG++ condition with light wear at corners, some light surface wear, partial ringwear on backside and a few light stains on backside. NO RESERVE. Winner pays $4.00 media mail in the U.S. Priority mail and insurance are available at buyers expense.
