DESCRIPTION:  After Shave- Skin Deep LP.  Original 1st Swiss press in laminated gatefold sleeve. It has been kept in an anti-static sleeve inside the white inner. There are some great tracks on this. More interesting, unusual and rare Prog/Kraut/Kosmische to come in next few weeks. Postage cost includes box/cruciform mailer, insurance and tracking. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage cost is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER:  Splendid  SLP 50.106 : YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: Switzerland: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX. Vinyl is really clean with a nice sheen, much closer to EX, miles better than VG. Basically it has one light 1cm non-sounding surface line on track one, side 2 or this is EX visually as well as sound-wise. Played all of this this week on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays EX and better. Sounds clean, clear, vibrant and loud. I could not even detect background noise between the tracks. I also have not cleaned this - I did not think it was necessary so if you wanted to clean it you might even get a bit more out of it sound-wise. Cover is in very nice clean shape. It is firm and square and has a little less than light edge wear, light corner wear and light creasing.  Really clean inside of gate fold.   Nice shape to fully legible spine. There is a record distribution company sticker to rear of sleeve. I have made no attempt to remove it. Immaculately clean labels- just check out the photos, the camera does not lie.  No writing, rips or sticker tears to sleeve or labels. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
