The record has just slightly more than what I would call a "handful" of scratches. They do all appear to be very light to light in nature. Overall, the record looks pretty good and likely plays just fine. There may be a couple audible pops or clicks here and there, mostly noticeable in the quiet sections between songs. Definitely nothing bad enough to cause a skip or ruin the listening experience. VG
The insert, unfortunately, has major seam splits on all 3 sealed sides. On at least 1 side it is split more than half the length of the insert. There are also some light creases on 2 corners, a little bit of wear at the very edge of the opening side, and some overall moderate signs of normal handling. Can't rate it better than G with the long seam splits.
The cover looks really good from front and back and only has minor ring wear, and a handful of the normal (1 inch or less in length) veins that you usually see at the top and left edges of used record covers. However, there is major damage to the spine edge and that edge has frayed away resulting in a nearly 4 inch long tear on that edge. (see pictures) The bottom edge also has the beginnings of a fray hole but at this time it is only an inch in length and still mostly closed. Unfortunately because of those frayed edges I can't rate this cover better than G+, though it still looks great from front and back and is otherwise in great shape.
