Description
Up for sale is an authentic, original 1972 US stereo first pressing of Al Green's definitive soul masterpiece, "I'm Still in Love with You," on the classic orange/silver split Hi Records label (Catalog #: XSHL 32074).
This exceptional collector's copy features the highly coveted, cursive hand-etched "Mastercraft Memphis HC" inscription in the dead wax runout. This script verifies the record was mastered directly in Memphis by legendary engineer Howard Craft from the original studio master tapes. The "W" suffix on the matrix code confirms a pristine, heavyweight pressing from the premium H.V. Waddell Co. facility.
The record comes complete with its beautiful original outer jacket and its rare, authentic 1972 London/Hi Records pictorial promotional inner sleeve. A foundational powerhouse album for any classic soul, R&B, or Memphis funk vinyl collection.
