Description
Green label with darker green leaf motif at the top of the label. 10 tracks. Leader, Al Haig, piano; Eddie De Haas, bass; Jimmy Kappes, drums. Includes 1 Haig composition and 1 De Haas composition.
Cover: VG++ Intact and clean. Light aging on the back cover. Fine condition.
Record: VG++ Visually shows light wear with several light surface rub marks. 1 tiny discoloration spot on Side 1, Track 4. This does not affect the sound. There are a few very light clicks on all tracks. Almost all are barely audible. Track 1, Side 1 has a faint click followed by 2 very faint clicks. 6 or 7 faint clicks during the bass solo. 1 or 2 of these is slightly more audible. Tracks 2 and 3 have 3 or 4 extremely light clicks and 1 slightly more audible of Track 3. Track 4 has a few light clicks during the bass solo with 2 or 3 after the bass solo and 1 or 2 faint clicks at the end of the Track. Track 5 has a small number of faint light clicks. Side 2, Track 1 has slight groove noise on the first revolution and 5 or 6 isolated light clicks during the bass solo. Tracks 2 and 3 are similar. Track 4 and 5 have faint groove noise on the first 1 to 3 revolutions and 1 or 2 very light clicks. As noted, all noise is faint and isolated either caused by the slight wear or in the quality of the pressing. Audibly checked.
