WYSIWYG.......one Al Jolson in Songs He Made Famous 4 Record Set #469 78, PLAY GRADED & Fully Tested. This Box Set is in great shape. It was play tested from start to finish (on a cheap, manual, unbranded record player I got for twenty bucks new off the internet), from beginning to end of each and every record. It sounds great with no skips or jumps. ALL 4 discs play Smooth, Loud, and Clear. Disc 1 Side 1 has very light noise and grades VG++; Disc 1 side 2 (Swanee) has virtually no noise, VG++ (age adjusted M-); Disc 2 side 3 with very little noise, VG+; disc 2 side 4 with light noise, VG+; disc 3 sides 5&6 HAS STRESS CRACKS, but play LOUD & Clear with clicks over the crack, otherwise has very little noise, VG-, disc 4 sides 7&8 play with light noise, both VG+. My best guess for overall grading (see grading info below) is Jacket=VG+ Sleeve=M- Record=VG+. This is one of the nicest sets you'll find on eBay (or anywhere else), and the best AND least expensive FULLY PLAY GRADED. Please take a close look at all of the pics and read the info in the listing details before purchasing this item, as it constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to them. NOTE: shipping will include insurance.
WARNING--Do you want the best for your money? Ask yourself why the other sellers don't show you the album from ALL angles, including the cover, dust jacket, and vinyl. With my listings, you really know what you get due to all of the pics.
NOTE: I am not an expert on grading, but after doing it for 2 years, feel as though I now know what I'm doing. I have had ZERO complaints on my grading in that time. Also, I have only lost 1 record to damage during shipping. I am very proud of my record and will always strive to get even better. I also have ZERO experience or knowledge of how to clean records. So, out of fear of damaging the records, I have NOT cleaned them, just dusted them with a soft micro-fiber cloth and distilled water. There may be dust &/or finger prints. I now listen to every record I sell from beginning to end and grade on how it sounds. After all, the way it sounds is far more important than the way it looks. A record can look NM or VG+ , but skip or otherwise sound terrible. It doesn't matter how good a visual grader you are, it is sometimes just impossible to tell without playing it all the way through. Don't let a lazy seller ruin your day. A record play tested fully is the only way to be sure that you are getting what you paid for, a great record. This album HAS been PLAY TESTED from start to finish on both sides. It plays through with no skips or jumps.
