Description
Acid folk/psych / folk rock of the highest order from 1969 with Al Jones, helped by some stellar session guys including the awesome Harold McNair on flute. This Parlophone gem very rarely turns up, and this is a decent playable copy with plenty to commend it.
The front laminated flipback sleeve is a little tired, with corner wear, edge wear and some corner creasing to the front. The back cover is solid enough though, and it is conservatively graded VG to VG+.
The vinyl has some crackle on the run in and run out, but settles down well beyond that, with the music strongly to the fore and coming over crisp and loud with great dynamic range. A few wispy lines and marks here and there but overall it's pretty clean for its age, and grades a solid VG+ on the audio.
The black and yellow Parlophone labels are in fine shape and grade Excellent, and it comes with an original sepia EMI inner sleeve which is fine shape with no seam splits, and grades Excellent.
RARE - and a great listen. No reserve!
