Mega rare Orange County, California 1973 private press psych grail Lp. Original pressings of this album have only come up for sale a handful of times. A well documented Lp mentioned in the Acid Archives book years ago and reissued in very limited quantities on the Stones Throw record label. It’s also great musically from start to finish unlike most private press LPs that usually contain 1-2 killer tracks only. Full electric band with drums and recorded professionally. This guy was a great songwriter and musician. You can find the recordings on YouTube.
COMES WITH ORIGINAL XEROX INSERT NOT A REPLICA COPY LIKE OTHERS THAT HAVE COME UP FOR SALE. MY INSERT IS OLD SCHOOL CLAY COATED ANCIENT XEROX PAPER.
No photo insert like the picture on discogs that appears to have surfaced on one copy only.
This copy is a solid high grade VG+ vinyl with a few faint compression marks only visible under bright light from storage. I don’t really think this Lp has been played other than the couple times I played it to test and experience it for myself. There’s no spindle marks on the mat black label at all. I VPI cleaned this record and it plays great and I’ll VPI again right before shipping it in a poly lined archival sleeve.
Original blank white cover is VG+ it has yellowing but no splitting. SEE PHOTOS.
Insert is flat and crispy clean as it was housed inside the jacket and probably never taken out.
I’m including the original old inner blank sleeve with the package.
Furnished with new poly lined archival inner sleeve and new Japanese resealable sleeve for the jacket.
