For sale is this UK original vinyl 7" single, in a plain sleeve, by Al Saxon. Entitled Heart Of Stone, the B-side is Linda Lu. On the Fontana label, the catalogue number is 45-H.222 and the date of issue is 1959.
Condition
The vinyl is only in Fair to Good condition visually but both sides play through with no jumps or sticks so it would do as a filler until a better copy comes along.
The labels are in Very Good condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing but a bit of wear and some spindle marks and wear.
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
