Description
This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, from several different labels - a real mix this time with a nice selection of unusual small label stuff. There are a handful of Aladdin and King, but there are also some one offs from Ivy, Home of the Blues and more.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1956
Notes: Maroon label first pressing. Earlier single by this duo that became a hit in Jamaica. Several of their early records were reissued there and covered by Jamaican artists in the burgeoning reggae scene. Both of these tracks are great upbeat R&B numbers with fantastic sax work.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in nice shape and super-clean with almost no wear at all, just a couple of very small scuff marks. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears or stickers but they do have a bit of light scuffing. This is a nice copy overall.
Sleeve Condition: VG, has some wrinkling and a small pencil number in the corner. No tears or splits, displays nicely.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another auction: R&B/doo-wop/blues 78's.
