Description
This is Library Of Congress Records AFS L4, Afro-American Blues And Game Songs edited by Alan Lomax. This is part of the Foll Music Of The United States collection. This is a blue, deep groove label, red vinyl, mono compilation of these classic sides featuring the 1st recordings of Muddy Waters and Sonny Terry. The record is in VG++ condition showing a few light marks keeping it from being near mint and playing quietly throughout. The cover has some tape residue and light edge wear, but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show light spindle marks. The 4 page booklet is not included. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this classic record. This is part of a nice collection of classic blues from such labels as Belzona / Yazoo, Origin, Herwin, JEMF and Library Of Congress that I will be listing over the next few days. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins. Thanks for looking.
