Description

Alan Tam - Re-encounter Romance (1987) HK First Press Philips Vinyl LP + Poster NM-

For Canto-pop collectors and audiophiles! Up for auction is a stunningly well-preserved copy of Alan Tam’s 1987 masterpiece "Re-encounter Romance" (!? ).

This isn't just a reissue; it is the Original Hong Kong First Pressing on the legendary Philips label (832 499-1). Collectors specifically seek out these Philips pressings for their superior analog warmth and depth—qualities that modern digital remasters simply cannot replicate.

The Collector’s Edge: Complete with Original Poster

Finding this album is one thing; finding it with the original poster and lyric booklet intact is another. For many fans, the poster is the "holy grail" of this release, and this copy includes it in excellent condition.

Condition Breakdown

• Vinyl (Media): EX to NM (Excellent / Near Mint)

The wax retains a deep, mirror-like glossy luster. Under bright light, only the most minimal superficial paper scuffs are visible. It appears remarkably clean and has been handled with extreme care.

• Sleeve/Jacket: VG+ to EX

The jacket features sharp edges and a strong spine. There is some light, age-appropriate ring wear visible on the glossy finish and minor creasing near the spine. Includes a vintage "Rendezvous" price sticker on the outer protective sleeve (a classic mark of its HK import history).

• Inserts: Includes the Original Poster and Lyric Booklet. Both are in fantastic shape with no major tears or stains.

Tracklist Highlights

• ！？ (Goodbye!? Romance)
