Description

This is a rare album by the progressive psych band, Albatross. Although there were more than one band called Albatross, this is the band that originated from Rockport, Illinois. They were heavily influenced by bands like Yes, Emerson Lake and Palmer, and Nice. This is the only album they released and according to the credited engineer on the record, Tom Lehman, there were only 1000 of these albums pressed. It is truly a fascinating record and extremely rare especially in this condition.

Entitled "Albatross" it is on the Anvil label. The cover is in excellent condition with no seam splits. The record has it's original luster and shine and is in near mint condition. It has been in my collection for 25-30 years and as far as I can remember has only been played two or three times. Simply put...there are very few, if any, of this album in this condition. If the cost of this item is over $150.00, ebay's ship cover insurance will be added.
