Description
This is the 1968 "narrow band" reissue of Decca SXL 6355, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos conducting the New Philharmonia Orchestra in a performance of Suite Española by Isaac Albéniz. The stampers are 2G on side A and 3G on side B. The vinyl is graded VG+; there are faint scuffs on side A but it plays as if NM. However, side B has a somewhat deeper scuff that ticks softly for around 30 seconds to a minute in B3 "Cataluna Corranda". The jacket is graded VG+ with minor dings to the lower corners and slight ring wear on the back. There is shockingly little yellowing or edge wear for a British-style jacket of this vintage. This record was ultrasonically cleaned by a paid service a couple of years ago and has only been played a couple of times since then, and comes in a heavy, double-lined antistatic sleeve with the service's sticker on it. A new 2.5 mil outer sleeve is provided.
