Description

Albert Ayler (with Don Ayler, Charles Tyler, Lewis Worrell, Sunny Murray) BELLS ESP 1010, recorded 1965. One-sided LP:  this is the translucent-white pressing with logo on silent side in red. Disc plays E with a couple of pops and light gratzl. One dig in the last minute causes audible artifacts through about 25 revolutions. Jacket is NM-:  cover is a heavy-duty cardboard (black) with 11” red metallic foil circle of the logo in red and blue spirograph backing.  Very special.

Here’s the eighteenth of about 30 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
