Description
This is part of a smaller auction of all higher end records of mixed genres with starting bids of just $5. There's some really cool stuff here just doesn't often come up for auction including free jazz, small press indie, 90's alternative and more.
Artist: Albert Ayler Trio
Album: Spiritual Unity
Description: Tan with red print second press from 1965. The difference between this and the first press is the lack of a deep groove ring on this version and the label design (the labels on this one are clearly superior though). The only record by this particular trio and it's an absolute classic. One of the cornerstones of the free jazz genre.
Vinyl Condition: VG++, very clean record. The vinyl itself is super nice, great original gloss and just a couple of tiny, very fine scuffs. Plays great. Labels have some light browning/discoloration. Not quite EX/NM, but just a tick below that. It would be tough to upgrade the record part of this one.
Sleeve Condition: VG-, the main issue here is some browning & discoloration. Since the cover is off-white to start out with it's not AS noticeable, but it's there. No tears, splits, writing, stickers, etc. No big bends or wrinkles. Could be a VG if you squint. Original inner is included and is discolored, but in generally nice shape. See pics for specifics on coloration.
