Description
Albert Collins "Alive & Cool" Red Lightnin' Records, RL 004 (1969) Live Recording, Import. I purchased this album new in the early/mid 1970's, lightly played. I have recently cleaned it and tested all tracks on both sides, plays fine (there are some scuff marks, the vinyl is thin and each side looks like one continuous track). Original blank white jacket with photocopied cover pasted on front, nothing on the back. There is ring wear on the back. The front cover has some smudges, a price sticker on the upper right corner. There is some shelf wear on the edges and corners. There are no markings on the cover or the original paper sleeve. My name is written on the side one label (covered in the photo for the listing).
The LP is in a new anti-static clear sleeve placed on the outside of the album cover in a clear 3 Mil outer sleeve with a cardboard stiffener (200 lb. corrugation) and packaged in a 12" LP shipping mailer (made from 200 lb. test corrugated cardboard with 32 lb. ECT (edge crush test)
I was very fortunate to meet and speak with Albert Collins when he performed live at the Euphoria Nightclub (Portland, Oregon). I also attended a live performance of his at the Hayloft Tavern (Vancouver, Washington)
