Albert King I'll PLay The Blues For You LP on the Stax label in excellent condition up for sale. The LP first, the vinyl is NM. The jacket is VG++ with a hole punch in the upper right corner. Albert King Autographed this LP as well in the open golden space below the picture on the cover. The only issue, is his autograph is upside down to the picture, but it is clear. Great for framing. The music is superb as with most classic Stax recordings of this period. Great horns by The Memphis Horns and backing by The Bar-Kays. You can hear ther influences dripping off of Albert King's strings with each rotation of the record...theres, SRV, Robert Cray, Clapton and more. Tracks are: I'll PLay the Blues For You (parts 1 and 2), Little Brother, Breaking UIp Somebody's home, High Cost of Living, I'll be Doggone, Answer To The Laundromat Blues, Don't Burn Down The Bridge (cause you might wanna come back), Angel of Mercy. This one was once owned by longtime collector of music, Mike Shamhart who lived in the Columbus, Ohio area at the time of his passing. Mike was a long time collector of vinyl of all kinds, and was particularly well known in Bob Dylan and Grateful Dead collector circles. I am selling his best records on ebay for his family.
