Description
This is a complete set of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Gondoliers recorded in 1936 on 78 RPM records. These records are a complete, original set on the RCA Red Seal label. The album number is C-16, where the "C" without a second prefix means that the sides are in normal order, 1 on the back of 2, 4 on the back of 3, etc. The records are in nearly pristine condition, and the album is fairly good, with a repairable separation at the top of the spine. The performance features Sir Henry Lytton and Bertha Lewis as the Duke and Duchess of Plaza Toro, The minimum bid price of $14.99 with free shipping in the US will almost cover expenses, but I'd rather give these away to a good home than have them sit in my garage until they eventually end up in a land fill. My 78 rpm records are probably some of the finest you will find on eBay because they were purchased specifically for the purpose of recording them.
