Amazing 10" vinyl EP by Alela Diane - her first release, now unavailable. Very rare - I have tried to find one for sale elsewhere and haven't found any. Buy now while you have the chance!
The record and sleeve are both in perfect condition.

This superb six track offering is only available in the UK and only on vinyl(although I believe an MP3 version is available). I don't know why because this features some of her strongest songs to date and you would think the record company would want to make it as widely available as possible.
Recorded at home(but you'd never know from the sound quality)over the course of 2005-2006 these are beautifully crafted songs in similar vein to the afore-mentioned long player. But what songs! The stand out tracks for me are 'Tatted Lace'(which features able support from Mariee Sioux on banjo and vocals) and 'Lady Divine' which are as good or better than anything on the album.
I made a CD version of this for myself, and it's just as well, as I might have worn out my vinyl copy by now, so much have I played it. If you already know and like this artist, this is absolutely essential, if you don't, you don't know what you are missing.
