Description

This is an extremely rare, one-of-a-kind item: a copy of his 1987 album “High Priest” signed by the late Alex Chilton. The autograph was obtained in person by me after his show at Under Acme in New York City on May 1, 1998. (He played three nights in a row there, from April 30 – May 2, and I saw every show.) I have taken very good care of this item, and both the album and the autograph are in pristine condition. The sleeve grades as Ex with only some light corner and ring wear and a tiny crease, and the album is NM, with just a tiny scuff on the lead-in area on Side Two. (Please see the photos for the exact condition of both the sleeve and the record.) Overall, it’s in beautiful shape and has some great songs on it like “Take It Off,” “Dalai Lama” and “Thing For You.” This will be a great addition to your collection.
